Bachelor of Computer Applications.

BCA is a three-year undergraduate course in computer applications, building students’ grounding in computer languages. Over three years, students prepare for careers across Information Technology and Computer Applications, in a job market where demand for BCA graduates continues to grow rapidly.

Programme Objectives

• Prepare students for careers through self-employment, executive employment and entrepreneurship, across sectors including e-banking, marketing, investment, insurance and hospitality.
• Develop competence spanning commerce, management, computing skills and computational tools.
• Build data analysis and interpretation skills using ICT.
• Develop basic programming skills sufficient to build utility programmes.
• Lay the foundation for higher studies in Computer Applications.
• Build technical, professional and communication skills alongside management fundamentals.

Teaching Pedagogy

Teaching combines lectures, case studies, project work, role-plays, group discussions and film screenings, mixed by course. Continuous evaluation maintains academic rigour, with industry interaction, live projects and workshops adding real-world grounding to classroom learning.
