About GIMR

Godavari Foundation's Godavari Institute of Management and Research (GIMR) was established in 2001 with the objective of providing high-quality education in the fields of Management and Research. The Institute is a dynamic, vibrant and growth-oriented institution functioning under the visionary guidance of Dr. Ulhas V. Patil, Ex-Member of Parliament, Jalgaon, the Founder President of Godavari Foundation. The Institute is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi, and is affiliated with KBCNMU, Jalgaon.

The Institute encompasses a 4-acre green campus with more than 100 trees, a lavish lawn, and 60,000 sq. ft. of academic area. It is supported by a team of dedicated, young, highly qualified regular faculty members, complemented by distinguished visiting faculty from industry and professional backgrounds. GIMR also benefits from the guidance of eminent management experts and senior practicing managers representing diverse areas of management. The Institute continuously strives to establish strong linkages with industry and the corporate sector, enabling students to gain practical exposure and enhancing their career and placement opportunities.

The strategic proximity of GIMR to the MIDC industrial area provides an additional advantage by facilitating close interaction with industries and corporate organizations. This industry–academia association helps students develop practical knowledge, managerial competence, and essential business acumen. Through its academic excellence and strong industry interaction, GIMR aims to prepare competent, responsible, future-ready management professionals capable of becoming the leaders of tomorrow.
